Yurts, the ideal getaway retreat to satisfy hardcore campers and those seeking a more comfortable nights sleep.  Better known for glamourous camping, glamping yurts are a unique way to stay in a wooded campground setting taking in the outdoor experience, all the while accomplishing the modern conveniences so many desire.  Northeast Whitewater Yurts treat you to a rustic, yet realistic comfortable glam-camping stay while enjoying your Moosehead Lake Things to Do with us. Yurts are a circular hut made from latticed wood, overlaid with a canvas wrap.  Our camping yurts are situated on a wooden deck, which is the platform as the interior, but also great for outside seating.

We are animal lovers and have two official greeters, which are our Northeast Whitewater Dogs, Abby and Ellis.  We chose to name our yurts after the dogs that have been a part of our outdoor adventure lifestyle so far. Please note: even though we love animals, we do not allow pets in our glamping yurts and campground.  We have adopted a no pets campground because Northeast Whitewater Lodge, Campground & Guide Service is our dogs home. Loving and dog petting is encouraged always when visiting our dogs while they live and work here.  There is no smoking allowed in Northeast Whitewater yurts.
